Rev. Rita Marie Browning (left) donated $300 to North Hastings Community Trust, on behalf of the Bancroft Spiritual Centre. Accepting the cheque is Lindsay Jolly (NHCT Program Coordinator). The Trust provides emergency financial assistance and community referrals to low-income families, individuals and children.

If you are going to buy gas anyways, why not contribute to a great cause in the process?

Well now it is not only easy and convenient - it is free!

Say you would normally fill up your vehicle and spend about $50 doing so. Well now all you have to do is purchase Esso gift cards first and use them to pay for your gas. You can even use these gift cards to purchase drinks and snacks.

Thank you Community Justice Fund!

We would like to offer a big thank you to the Community Justice Fund for their recent donation to the North Hastings Community Trust. We understand the number of applications received this year was higher than in previous years so we are grateful to still be included. Interesting statistic; 26% of the client who receive funding from the Trust are victims of crime, this includes victims of domestic violence, other types of assault and theft.
